My name is John Predovan. I’m 34 years old living in Cliffside Park , New Jersey . Originally, I was born in Baltimore , Maryland and lived there for a little while before my grandparents decided to move north to New Jersey . I’ve been a New Jersey native for most of my life. I went to Catholic school up until junior high and attended Cliffside Park High School where I graduated from. I tried the whole college thing for a while, but it just wasn’t for me. My passion throughout most of my life was skateboarding. I have skateboarded for 20 years (starting at age 10). Those 20 years have been the most amazing and memorable years of my life. I’ve met so many incredible people in the industry, learned so many things, as well as traveled, did demos, contests, etc. I was a well rounded skater, mostly street skating (stairs, handrails, curbs ledges, etc.) but had a special love for mini-ramp and huge quarter-pipes. It was just something about being a consistent skater, and with ramp skating, there’s no time to think, you just got to do it. Those were the best days of my life and I will never forget them.

In the winter of 2001, I made the decision to leave the industry that I’ve loved and cherished so much. Not because of a career ending injury or being too old (lord knows I had at least another 10-15 years left under my belt). It all started in the summer of 2001 when I had my alien abduction experience. Slowly after the incident, things started to change with me. I felt I was being pulled away not just from skateboarding but from everyone and everything else around me. My life had been altered and set forth on a different and most unexpected path. A path that seemed unbelievable and unimaginable at the time, yet there I was on this path. This path as I call it is of truth seeking for the unknown. This was the beginning of my hunt into the ufo phenomenon.

Seven years later, I find myself in a completely different situation then I was before. I was practically thrown into the paranormal field like a gosling jumping into the water unexpectedly for the first time. I would have never imagined myself being in the paranormal field, especially in the ufo aspect of it. I never doubted the existence of ufo’s (for us as people to believe we’re the only ones in the universe would be very self-centered of us). It’s just amazing how one incident can completely flip your life around. I have this passion and drive to find out the truth not just about what happened to me (as I believe I was indeed a pawn in a huge chess game) but just the knowledge of other sightings, abductions, conspiracies etc. I love this part of the paranormal field because I love to dig and dig for the truth. To uncover things that has been buried for so long, and to find out the truth most of all. So far, the paranormal field has been indeed most supportive (the list goes on and on so you know who you are) as I’ve had little or no negative feedback and opposition. I hope in the meantime to continue with this field for as long as I can.

Seven years have passed, so what have I been doing? I had my first book published in 2006 about my abduction, “CURVED MEMORIES: THE CHRONICLES OF THE LIGHTS OVER NEW JERSEY”. I’ve done some radio and television shows (PARAHUB had me as a guest and it was awesome!) Also, I guest appeared on the season premiere of UFO HUNTERS on the SCI-FI CHANNEL. I’m currently writing my second book of memories and I hope to have it out in the summer or fall of 2008. Well, believe it or not, I still have my hands involved in the skateboarding industry (keeping tabs on all my buddies affiliated in it). I don’t plan a return to the industry, but I’ve found nice hobby that keeps me relaxed in times of distress, and that’s bowling. Yeah, I know it’s a severe change from skateboarding, but I’ve been bowling seriously for the past 2 years and I maintain an average of 190-200. It’s fun, relaxing and it comes naturally to me, as skateboarding did. I also enjoy candle making in my spare time (it’s time consuming, but a lot of fun). Also, I have a few good buddies that we just hang out, bum around and have a good time. Things may have been really rough for me, but they’re slowly getting better as well. That’s about it on me. Thanks for taking the time to read this and take care all of you.
